Square Enix has set a release date for 3DS spin-off adventure, Final Fantasy Explorers in Japan.

Also this week were new jobs introduced for the upcoming adventure, including "Time Mage" who will assist with magic, with "Ninja" using speed for nippy sneak attacks. Square Enix also posted videos for the Knight, Monk and Black Mage job types.

That's a valid concern indeed Smilie. I will like it more if it has actual exploration in it than otherwise. That's one of the things that put me off from games like Monster Hunter, that you always re-visit the same locales and there's not a whole lot of different places to explore (though what IS there is arguably gorgeous, at least it was in the Wii game IMHO).

Label me intrigued so far. But let's see if it actually comes out our way, if the online ends up being free or subscription based, and once the finished game falls into the hands of reviewers, to see what they have to say about it Smilie. But it looks pretty sweet already Smilie.

I'm quite interested in this, though for now I'll have my fill of 3DS co-op games with Fantasy Life in a month and the mighty Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate in early 2015.
