Explore the beautiful world of Reveria in a new trailer for new 3DS RPG, Fantasy Life.

Developed by the folk who created the Professor Layton series, Level-5, the game invites players into a world full with mountain peaks, pirate-infested coves and lush fields of green in a new life simulator. Players can take on many different roles as a new hero, from woodcutter to magician, alchemist to cook. Gather supplies, craft tools and weapons and battle all sorts of foes.

Fantasy Life also allows players to connect with other online players in "Link Mode", and also explore the world together either locally or online.

Fantasy Life is due out on 26th September for Nintendo 3DS/2DS.

Definitely picking this one up on Day 1. Even though it's taken ages for this to come over here, I appreciate them waiting with a localisation to give us the expanded version, much like other games such as Senran Kagura Burst or Bravely Default did. Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate will also be joining that list in the future.

Looks pretty good actually, like that blend of battle and living. Really hope the next Zelda takes a page out of this book - love the whole NPC/world/role building you get from this and games like Rune Factory.
