Link Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Costume Heading to the West on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Capcom have confirmed that the Legend of Zelda inspired equipment will be included in the Western release of Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate.

The upcoming 3DS adventure will allow fans to craft the iconic Legend of Zelda look, including Link's green hat/tunic, Master Sword and Shield. The outfit also includes the Fairy Bow for those wanting to pelt enemies with projectiles.

Interestingly, Capcom also tested in a recent blog post that the team have "more special equipment like this planned for the title."


 

Capcom also announced a winner for the Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate weapon design contest known as the "Clockwork Contraption", which is pitched as a mechanised insect glave. The team incorporated a weapon inspired by the idea in the new game.

Sure hope the stats on that armor & weapons stay impressive. Usually specialty themed armor like this tends to be out classed by main end game armor, ruining any chance of having fun with it later on like some of the unique weapons being pointless once you hit G rank quests in 3 Ultimate.
