Fatal Frame Wii U to use Dead or Alive 5 Tech on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Team Ninja have confirmed that the studio will be borrowing some technology from Dead or Alive 5 in the new Wii U game.

Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden was announced last week, a new horror adventure penned for Wii U. The game revolves around Kozukata Yuuri, a girl with the ability to see the deceased, who visits the Hikamiyama mountain region, a place that's known for people who go there to die.

The GamePad is said to be a "Projection Machine", which will act like a camera.

On Twitter this week, Team Ninja confirmed that "the latest Fatal Frame game that was announced the other day uses some technology from Dead or Alive 5!"

Finally a good reason to drop 300 greens on a Japanese Wii U.
This game used to scare the crap out of me back on the PS2.

Boobs. I called it.

I hope the US at least gets this one, it's stupid how we never got 4 or the remake of 2....Nintendo has A LOT to make up for.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Hopefully Nintendo Europe will bring out the goods like they did last time Smilie. I finished 1 on the PS2 and the remake of 2 on Wii. Also started playing 4 with the English fan-translation available but never got round to finishing it but loved what I played of it.

Where did you get your translation mod file from? Is the version you got only good for UK Wii systems or is it compatible with US Wiis as well?
