Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus Could get Remake

The creator of the Oddworld series, Lorne Lanning, is keen to remake another entry - Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus.

In an interview, Lanning admitted how the studio, Oddworld Inhabitants, opted on creating a remake due to strong demand from fans, plus a lack of funding to create a new IP. "It took a few years and a few million dollars of self investment, but we hope it will resonate well," he said.

Going forward, Lanning homes that "with success, Exoddus will be the next game we make and with a LOT of success we'll start making new IPs."
