FAST Racing Neo to run at 60FPS on Wii U on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Developer Shin'en have confirmed that the upcoming sequel to futuristic racer FAST will run at 60 frames per second.

The new racer, FAST Racing Neo, is heading to the Nintendo Wii U eShop later this year, and will be set to run more smoothly when it lands on the home console. The studio confirmed on Twitter earlier this week that they are "Finally getting all beautiful visuals in stable 60fps", despite looking "impossible" when they first started work on the game.

The original game, FAST: Racing League was one of those breakthrough moments on the Wii hardware, offering fluid and intricately detailed graphics and tight handling.

What are you hoping to see in the new FAST entry on Wii U?

Nice looking forward to this one. I really liked the original on Wii, my only gripe was that it seemed almost too difficult to get into first place & maintain it if you made any mistakes with your boosting or were on the wrong colored part of track for your currently used polarity (kinda like Ikaruga except you slow down instead of explode if you're using the opposite color) so hopefully this one will use different racing mechanics.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422
