Tales Series Not Planned for Wii U, but Not Impossible on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Want a Tales of adventure for Wii U? It's possible, but not planned at the moment.

Nintendo is getting a nibble at Bandai Namco's much-loved adventure/RPG series in Tales of the World: Reve Unitia, and it's left fans wondering whether the Wii U would be in for similar treatment. Those with Nintendo consoles have had a good run in recent years, with Tales of Graces on Wii, plus a pair of titles on DS, so there does appear to be a market for the franchise on the Nintendo front.

However, series producer Hideo Baba spoke at E3 that "there are no plans to put it on the Wii U console in the future", but left fans with some hope that "nothing is impossible."

Are you a Tales fan? Should Bandai Namco bring the series to a Nintendo home console once again?

It was some time ago since he said that.  Given that Namco and Nintendo recently had a huge hit with SMASH and that WiiU is slowly gaining ground, I think we MIGHT (note:  MIGHT) get one.  Things CAN change all the time.

There was also a secret rumor I heard that Namco IS working on a new JRPG for WiiU, so... who knows.
