E3 2014 Media | Xenoblade Chronicles X E3 Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

More footage from the new Monolith Soft RPG was revealed during E3 this week, now known as Xenoblade Chronicles X.

The next chapter in the sci-fi RPG from the creators of Baten Kaitos and the original Xenoblade Chronicles X features a band of survivors on planet Earth who are trying to live in this beautiful, yet hostile, environment.

Players take on powerful creatures using the battle system that builds upon the mechanics from the original Wii game. In the Wii U sequel,  players can pilot a mech, explore a massive open world and develop character skills through a customisable Arts palette. Characters can also be customised - including gender, height, tattoos and general appearance.

It looks really fun, but it definitely needs some graphical polish. It doesn't even look as good as some 360/PS3 titles. Thankfully though, bad graphics do not mean a bad game.

Working like a fiend isn't very fun... and surprisingly isn't very fiendish either.
