Super Smash Bros. for 3DS Goes Gold on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

In today's Miiverse update for Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, a unique coin-collecting stage was revealed.

Based on the design of New. Super Mario Bros. 2, a game where coin-collecting is the main goal, the new stage has an abundance of sparkly gold-things.

When players manage to grab 100 coins, their character will transform into a gold fighter with increased attack power and no flinching whilst being attacked. "This unique stage's name is Golden Plains and it's exclusive to the 3DS version," said director Sakurai.
