2D Mario Galaxy-Inspired Platformer Heading to Wii U eShop

Reload Game Studio has announced a 2D side-scrolling platformer for Wii U inspired by Super Mario Galaxy.

The team are prepping CheeseCake Cool Conrad for release in the summer on the Wii U eShop, Ouya and Steam. Players zip across spherical/planetary landscapes, avoiding obstacles, collecting items and uncovering hidden cakes to save the poor Ice-cream Queen.

The footage shows the game's mechanics in action, plus some of the trickier levels in which "players will die often", says the developer.
