3DS Shell Adds Second Circle Pad on Left Shoulder

Peripheral manufacturer Cyber has created a 3DS shell that adds a second Circle Pad on the left shoulder.

Bolting onto the 3DS XL console, the "Extension Hunting Pad Slim" incorporates a secondary circle pad, but unlike Nintendo's official version, it's simply plonked on the left side of the unit, above the shoulder button. Designed primarily for Monster Hunter 4, the device includes a Micro-USB connector to charge up the shell whilst playing and cutting through vicious Capcom beasts.

Could the second circle pad incorporated in this way work?
