Turtle Tale Planned for Wii U, Took a Week to Port

Saturnine Games has confirmed that 2D platformer Turtle Tale is being tested on Wii U hardware.

With the 3DS version wrapped up and ready for Nintendo's approval, the team turned their attention to a bigger platform for the gun-tooting turtle to do his business. Earlier this week Saturnine tweeted that "the Wii U version of Turtle Tale is coming along very quickly", but it's too early to think about a release date.

Edward Di Geronimo from Saturnine also noted how the Wii U is "really, really easy to develop for" and how it "took about a week to get the 3DS game running on it." Geronimo also tweeted how he was "rather impressed with the architecture of the Wii U. No obvious trouble spots. Seems very well balanced."
