Japan Wii U Bundle to Include Wii Sports Club on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have announced a brand new Wii U hardware bundle for Japan, which includes a copy of Wii Sports Club.

Mirroring the company's original Nintendo Wii launch many moons ago, the new package will include three top sports - Tennis, Bowling and Golf, as a pre-installed app for new players to leap into the experience from the get go. The bundle also includes the usual cabling and a Wii Remote Pro controller for all those arm-waggling moments. The new collection doesn't include a copy of Nintendo Land, however.

The Wii Sports U bundle will be available from March 27th in Japan.

Should Nintendo follow a similar approach outside Japan by including Wii Sports Club by default?

Wow... less sports than the original Wii? Wasted opportunity imo. They should have included all Wii Sports Club sports, NintendoLand and Wii Remote Plus. Would be perfect, but no, another gimped release.

Strange as Japan didn't have the original Wii Sports bundled in anyway. I don't see the draw of playing the old Wii Sports game again...i'd rather have the Wind Waker bundle if I was them!

Eh, the last 2 sports aren't even out yet. It wouldn't surprise me if they're part of the deal. And if not... well it's only €20 for both.

Interesting how Nintendo focuses on Wii Sports again. I expected a sequel or at least an HD/online update a year ago, it could have done lots of good!

Errr... that's all the sports released so far isn't it? I can't recall any other than those three being released on Wii U.
