New Mario Kart 8 Trailer Confirms Bowser

Whether it's two or four wheels, Nintendo have fans covered in a new trailer for Mario Kart 8.

Shown in its full glory during tonight's Nintendo Direct broadcast, the forthcoming Wii U racing game is packed to the brim with ambitious new gravity-defying circuits, plus the addition of all of Bowser's cheeky minions as new playable racers - Iggy, Larry, Ludwig, Morton, Roy and Wendy are all bidding for attention amongst the veteran cast.

Fans can finally sit in the driving seat from 30th May in Europe and North America.

Much better then characters like Metal Mario and honey bee queen in MK7. I'm not really a fan of the koopa kids besides Roy but it's definitely good to have them in as their all pretty unique.

Yeah, I have to agree that the Koopa Minions are better than the characters in Mk7, but I still want to see Metal Mario return.

finally! i got my wish of the koppa kids(minions!!?)

now its just 9volt and the rest from wario ware. then i wouldnt mind professor e gadd, wart, capiain toad, magikoopa, toadsworth, dixie kong,cranky kong and a selection of a few others, from past games, as unlockable or as dlc. i really hope that characters like dry bowser, giga bowser,metal mario are costume changes rather than playable characters tho

maybe he could be an alt colour or something for Mario? I mean I doubt Nintendo would do it in a racing game but the idea of alt colours so quite cool tbh.

Cool idea for a character change function, but it won't happen. Either which way MK8 has already proven itself to be the best Mario Kart title yet...
