Nintendo Wins DICE Awards for Mario, Zelda on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The results from the DICE awards are in, with Nintendo scooping up a handful after The Last of Us eclipsed the competition.

The critically acclaimed adventure from Naughty Dog earned Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction, Innovation, Story, Art Direction, Sound Design, Character Performance, Achievement in Animation and Adventure Game of the Year.

Nintendo took the Handheld Game of the Year award for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and dominated Family Game of the Year with the superb platformer, Super Mario 3D World.

However, Diablo 3 took the Role-Playing/Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year Award, over Pokémon X and Pokémon Y, with Fire Emblem: Awakening losing out in the Strategy awards.
