Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Confirmed for Europe, North America with new Trailer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Capcom have announced an expanded Monster Hunter 4G today, plus confirmed that the game will be heading to the West.

It's a double whammy of good news for Monster Hunter fans today, as Capcom announced the new game for Nintendo 3DS during the Monster Hunter Festa '13 Finals Tournament.

Since the original game's release, players across the globe have been anticipating a release and finally their requests have been answered. Monster Hunter 4G, to be known outside Japan as Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, will be available in North America and Europe "in early 2015", according to producer Ryozo Tsujimoto. "We don't want to leave out our fellow hunters in the west. You can expect the biggest leap forward ever for the series."

This looks AMAZING! I can't wait until Early 2015! Thanks Capcom! And Rhyozo Tsujimoto! Thanks and good Hunting!!!!!!!Smilie

All I want is for them to make Monster Hunter on the Vita. I am confused why after so long of supporting it on the PSP they jumped immediately to 3DS when it has the same one nub control option as the PSP did and two analog sticks feels sooooo much better.

I know they made it also for Wii U but I can't justify dropping 350$ for one game. D: Vita is the perfect home for a new Monster Hunter, no offense to anyone who's primary handheld is a 3DS but you have to admit the social features are pretty inferior to most everything else at this point.

I love my 3DS and I will keep playing it for AC and Pokemon but MH just doesn't feel right without 2 analogs anymore.
