Developer Scirra has confirmed that Wii U support for game-development tool Construct 2 is to be available soon.
In the latest blog update, Wii U support was made official, requiring users to become Nintendo Authorised Developers before exporting to Wii U code. Developers will also need a Wii U development kit to ensure everything runs smoothly before submitting projects to Nintendo for approval.
In addition, developers are required to sign up for a Construct 2 Personal license and will be available to those who are already on the service at no additional charge.
Scirra are putting the finishing touches to the Wii U exporter, with an initial release to authorised developers shortly.
Developers - will you sign up to export projects to Nintendo Wii U?
