Super Smash Bros. 3DS to Feature Dark Emperor from StreetPass Quest on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The latest snap from the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. takes a queue from SteeetPass with a character making an appearance.

"Who is this monster, and where is it from? The cage may serve as a hint", said producer Masahiro Sakurai as a caption. The big beast, which does bare a fair bit of resemblance to that chap from Dragon Ball Z, is featured in StreetPass Quest - Dark Emperor.

It's uncertain whether he'll be part of the stage, a potential boss, assist trophy or - at a stretch - a playable character.

They'd never announce a playable character like this, so we can cross that one out. He would also never work. Smilie
