Rumour: Extra Character in New Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze?

Rumour: An amendment to the Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze boxart has sparked speculation into what could be an extra character.

Ahead of the game's launch, retailer Amazon updated the box-art to contain another character in the foreground, alongside Diddy and Dixie. No, it's not the likes of Mario or an other Mushroom Kingdom favourite, but the inclusion of this character has lead fans to believe he/she might be playable in the final game.
