The latest Nintendo Direct covered more elements from The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds in greater detail including characters and StreetPass.
As per usual, there are a wide range of spoilers in the run-up to the game's release, so tread with caution Zelda adventurer. There's also a major reveal towards the end of the trailer - you have been warned!
Confirmed by Nintendo today, there'll be various new mechanics including:
- The ability to warp to select locations in both Hyrule and Lorule via help from a new witch friend known as Irene.
- StreetPass battles with a Shadow Link (data collected from other players) to earn additional rupees.
- Various new dungeons, boss mechanics and more.
- The inclusion of the Zora flippers once again to aid swimming around the Overworld.
- The Milk Bar, a staple of Majora's Mask, returning with a possible side quest teased.
- A character known as Seres, the daughter of the Sanctuary owner, who falls victim to new enemy Yuga.
