Aonuma Teases Majora's Mask Answers After Completing Zelda: A Link Between Worlds

Aonuma Teases Majora

Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has once again teased the possibility of something Majora's Mask related in the future.

One of the numerous questions posted to Aonuma time and time again by fans is whether Nintendo are planning to revisit the critically acclaimed Majora's Mask. During Aonuma's panel at the New York Comic Con this week, the producer teased that when players finish A Link Between Worlds, "that may give you your answer".

Aonuma also showed off a brand new trailer for A Link Between Worlds.

Some fans have speculated that Lorule, the alternative world in A Link Between Worlds, could be connected to Termina, from Majora's Mask, somehow. Others have stated that a different visit to Termima could be in store for players in an alternative timeline after A Link Between Worlds - a spiritual sequel somewhat.

Well that would be interesting if things in the timeline changed because of the events of another game. I would love for Majoras Mask to be remade, although i don't like the expensive price point....

I know I'm probably going to get some flak for this, but aside from wanting a sequel to OoT & MM, I REALLY want The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask 3D for my 3DS. Ocarina of Time 3D was just too damn good to not do the same for Majora's Mask.

Sequals to OoT? You have sequals to Ocarina of Time.
MM and Twlight Princess are all sequel.

As for a MM remake, it should be a no-brainer. They got the engine working on the 3DS, just update the assets a bit. 6 month project tops should be profitable.

I'd quite like the idea of MM on the 3DS! It sounds like its going to be inevitable though, it just depends on how they do it whether it be a straight port, a remake or a direct sequel still based in Termina
