Poll: Will you Buy Pokémon X or Pokémon Y? on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Pikachu, Charizard, Mewtwo and friends are all set to take over the globe during October, question is which version of Pokémon X and Pokémon Y will you tackle?

Perhaps one of the most anticipated releases in 2013, next to Grand Theft Auto V and Call of Duty: Ghosts, the new Pokémon games will be unleashed globally on October 12th on Nintendo 3DS/2DS. As well as physical/retail boxed copies, both games will also be available in nifty digital eShop form to download.

The differences between Pokémon X and Pokémon Y? Each game will have their own set of legendary critters, specific Mega Evolutions and unique Pokémon to collect.

So without further ado, which of the two games will you leap into?

I always try to go with the game that sold the least copies. That means a higher chance of trading Pokémon I can't get!

I preordered pokemon y before I knew that x would have cool mega evolutions. However I got over that considering that I cheered my self up by saying "the y legendaries and Charizard are the best!!" In my head Smilie

Not voting yet since I won't be getting any just now. In fact I'm thinking of waiting till the "third" version comes out, cause it's obvious that they're will be one, like they're always was, with more content.

EDIT: In short, I'm waiting for Pokémon Z! (so I didn't vote in the poll Smilie)

yea i pre ordered X months ago, while my friends preordered Y. made told me i was picking the worse of the two, now they want to switch to X... i kind of want to purchase both!

pokemon X all the way!!!! It's way better because...
- Better legendary
- Better mega evolutions
- then imagine Mega Mewtwo X attacking, then Mega Charizard X attacking, then Xerneas just walks out of a forest
like a boss then does this crazy deadly intense think with his magical epic antlers. ISN'T THAT EPIC!?

Though if you imagine Mega Mewtwo Y attacking, then Mega Charizard Y attacking, then Yveltal attacking. That isn't really epic.

Today in stores I saw around 100 copies of Pokémon X.... and not a single one of Y. And this wasn't just 1 store!
Does the cover of Y look so much better or something?

i just purchased my copy of pokemo x today and i'm so excited to start playing it! i plan on picking up froakie as a starter and *spoiler* charmander as the kanto starter
