Tanooki Mario Glides into Statue Form from First4Figures on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

First4Figures has revealed another addition to the Nintendo limited-edition figures range, the adorable Tanooki Mario.

The new figure takes on Mario's guise from Super Mario 3D Land, complete with matching power-up block. A shake of the tail allowed Mario to glide across obstacles and waggle into fellow racers in Mario Kart 7. The statue measures up at 15 inches in height at a $239.99 price-point for the exclusive version and $199.99 for the standard look.

I actually miss Super Mario 3D Land, it was a great game. I'm looking forward to the sequel on Wii U!

If only more people had your mentality. It's insane just how underestimated Super Mario 3D World is considering it's made by the team behind the Galaxy games. They also haven't shown anything since E3, most likely because they don't want to steal any of Sonic Lost World's thunder.
