How Souls Work in Gaist Crusher 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The latest update on Nintendo 3DS brawler Gaist Crusher outlines how the "Soul" mechanism works to improve weapons.

In the new Nintendo 3DS game, which includes a set of accompanying toys, players will be able to tap into floating gems called "Souls". These artifacts allow the currently enabled weapon to be enhanced in some way - including auto blocking and an increase in attack power.

Gaist Crusher comes with its own 3DS attachment and is planned to expand into an animé and manga series in the future. The toys themselves will act as additional strength for the in-game souls, improving their capability but making the Nintendo 3DS itself look rather clunky.

What are your thoughts on the Gaist Crusher concept?
