2D side-scrolling platformer from Keiji Inafune, Mighty No. 9, has passed its stretch goal for a Wii U version.
Potentially one of the most successful crowd-funding campaigns to date, the Mega Man-inspired title passed its console stretch goal of $2,200,000 this morning, ensuring that Mighty No. 9 would be available on the Wii U, Xbox 360 and PS3.
Mighty No. 9 brings an updated Mega Man formula to PC and consoles, with a brand new lead character, bosses and stunning 2D artwork from the same designers who worked on the past Mega Man titles. The game is being developed by Inafune's independant studio, comcept.
Additional stretch goals include an Xbox One, PS4 version, challenge mode, extra end stage and boss. With fourteen days remaining at time of writing, Mighty No. 9 needs your support to unlock these exciting extra bonus features.
