EA Sports Still Not Working on Nintendo Wii U on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

EA Sports have once again discussed Wii U development, highlighting a solid relationship but no projects in the pipeline.

The discussion arose as Microsoft had announced a free copy of FIFA 14 for Xbox One pre-orders in Europe this week. Speaking to Andrew Wilson from EA Sports, IGN asked about whether there are any games heading to Nintendo platforms in the publisher's current line-up. The short answer, is "not right now".

"We're not building for Nintendo right now, but we have a tremendous relationship with them and have had a long relationship with them, and should it make sense for us to do so in the future we'll absolutely roll that into the plan."

What titles in EA's roster would you like to see come to Nintendo Wii U?

EA: We have a tremendous relationship with Nintendo!

Gamers: 'Tremendous' as in you're making some cool games for Nintendo platforms?

EA: More like we always make sure to say hi and smile when we walk past their booth at game conferences.
