Construct 2 Approved for Wii U Development on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Indie development software Construct 2 has been approved by Nintendo, with the team to start on a Wii U export.

The software, which allows both experienced and new game designers to create HTML5-driven games, has a range of devices it can export to. The team have been in talks with Nintendo and have confirmed that a Wii U exporter is on the cards.

It would essentially allow a game to be designed to be exported to be run on Wii U if Nintendo accepts the creator's project on Wii U.

It isn't a really smooth program, and you don't want to have to wait forever just be be paid from a game only worth a few dollars because they don't pay out until you make enough money. That would be wasted time and effort, so No. The 2D is already bad in the program, so how would that look on a console? Nope, i'll pass.
