3D SEGA Classics Incoming Include Ecco, Sonic, Shinobi and Space Harrier

During Nintendo Direct today, the company confirmed the release of the SEGA 3D Classics series.

The re-released 3D games will include popular hits like Ecco the Dolphin and Sonic the Hedgehog enhanced with 3D features to take advantage of the Nintendo 3DS stereoscopic screen, keeping the original format and classic sprites, but toggling the foreground/background.

The initial launch selection includes the following, with details and pricing to be confirmed soon.

Altered Beast
Ecco the Dolphin
Galaxy Force
Shinobi
Sonic the Hedgehog
Space Harrier
Streets of Rage
Super Hang-On

streets of rage? will these have multiplater at all?

It'll be Space Harrier, Super Hang-On and Streets of Rage for me. The first two for the scaler effect surely looking amazing in stereoscopic 3D (wish they also did Outrun), and the latter for the music ^^.
