Nintendo 3DS owners in Japan will soon be able to exchange voice chats, drawings and pictures through a dedicated app.
Known as Minna no Oshaberi Chat, the app - created by The Location Inc - will allow players to chat live with up to three other Nintendo 3DS users running the software. Up to ten users can communicate via drawings and pictures simultaneously with other users.
Because the Nintendo 3DS lacks standard GPS/mobile phone functionality, a Wi-Fi internet connection is of course required to start chatting.
A Western release has yet to be confirmed.
