C3 Plays | Mario Kart 8 Wii U E3 Demo Hands-on Playthrough Video on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

During the post-E3 preview session in London this week, Cubed3 sampled a range of Wii U titles including the much anticipated Mario Kart 8.

Nintendo UK hosted a hands-on day with selected Wii U and 3DS titles, with Mario Kart 8 of course drawing huge volumes of eager press members and lifelong Nintendo fans to the trio of demo booths.  The game itself had a quick Grand Prix selection of three tracks, together with various characters with preset bikes or karts specifically for the demo in mind.

In the off-screen video footage (which requires a player in shot), Cubed3's Suzie and myself tackled the single player mode, which runs in stunning 60fps, together with the slick spit-screen multiplayer feature using the GamePad and Wii Wheel.

C3 Plays video includes music and commentary.

"In the off-screen video footage (which requires a player in shot),"

Nintendo still require that at shows? weird.
I assumed with the Wii it was because they wanted to make a point of player actions, this time though thats hardly a focus.

Lol, could very well crop more out but problem is Nintendo do keep a strong eye on pretty much everything we do, so alas have to keep to guidelines to keep being invited to these events!
