E3 2013 | Yoshi's New Island 3DS Trailer and Screenshots

Yoshi's latest eggciting adventure is Yoshi's New Island - watch the E3 trailer and new screenshots inside.

The third chapter in the popular Yoshi's Island series brings back the classic platforming mechanics with everyone's favourite, super-adorable green dinosaur. Flutter jump, throw eggs, ground pound and use new Mega Eggs to venture through a variety of new levels.

There'll also be the inclusion of motion control for certain abilities - for example moving the 3DS console itself to uncover hidden areas and better aim eggs.

The art style will also vary throughout Yoshi's New Island, offering a mix of crayon, oil and watercolour as players progress through the game.

Yoshi's New Island is due 2014 on Nintendo 3DS.
