DLC for Injustice Wii U is Expected this Summer on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The official twitter account for DC brawler Injustice: Gods Among Us has confirmed that the Wii U DLC is on the way.

DLC has always been a struggle on Nintendo systems, often appearing in drips and drabs from third parties and even skipping Wii U all-together. With the latest franchise mash-up from Warner Bros and NetherRealm Studios, additional content for the Wii U edition was very much uncertain until today.

After facing a barrage of heated comments from fans and Nintendo players, the studio have confirmed that "We expect DLC for the Wii U version of Injustice: Gods Among Us to be available this summer", promising more details soon.

Nintendo Wii U owners will have to face a wait for the DLC features, but at least there is now reassurance that it is indeed on the way.

I'd like to hear a reason for the delay. The WiiU is more than capable of having DLC. Can't see what the problem  is with all these companies not bothering to release DLC on WiiU versions of games.

I think it's probably, they're trying to port DLC en masse for efficiency because so far there isn't a big audience for DLC on the system. Financial viability concerns I'm guessing.

The game sold like shit on Wii U, DLC at this late stage wont sell.
