The Pokémon arcade game developed by Marvelous AQL has been confirmed for a Nintendo 3DS release.
In the arcade edition, entitled Pokémon Tretta, players collect small plastic battle cards known as Tretta and can use these in 3-on-3 battles in order to catch wild Pokémon and earn new cards.
Details on the 3DS version are scarce at the moment, but the title will ship with a specific Tretta reader so it's likely to act as a form of portable companion to the original arcade edition. Pokémon Tretta Lab will be available August 10th in Japan for 3,800 Yen.
What do you think of the Pokémon Tretta Lab concept - would you play something like this if it came to the West?
