Capcom have posted an explosive new trailer for the much anticipated fifth chapter in the popular Ace Attorney series.

Fan-favourite Phoenix Wright returns to the helm with a new assistant called Kokone Kizuki and the chap from the last Ace Attorney, Apollo Justice. Alongside the new 3D visual look, the familiar courtroom confrontation and clue hunting sequences return, joined by a new "heart reading" mechanic to unravel those crucial truths.

Ace Attorney 5 is launching in Japan exclusively on Nintendo 3DS on July 25, a western date has yet to be confirmed.

Since we never got the Prof Latin & Phoenix Wright game I'm not sure if we'll get this either. Hope so but who's to say.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

Thankfully a localisation has already been confirmed by Capcom.

The spinoff still has a chance too, I really hope we get it; it was only released in Japan in the last half a year, and look how long it took them to localise Bravely Default.

Day one, guaranteed. Skip work? Probably. I have to have this game!

Definitely pre-ordering! Still waiting for the Investigations 2 fan-translation...
The Layton x Phoenix Wright cross-over better get localised... would be MENTAL on Capcom's part not to bring it over here, considering I'm sure many people bought a 3DS with that title in mind.

Same for Level-5, if they're wondering why people are slowly losing interest in the good Professor, that title is exactly what he needs to get people interested again.

To me, it's bizarre that they want to localise Layton 6 first..! Still keeping up the hope though.

I appreciate the sentiment SuperLink, but Bravery Default is Square & Phoenix Wright is Capcom so I'm not seeing any possible relation between the actions of 2 differently managed companies.
