Take Flight With New Pikmin 3 Wii U Details - Introducing Winged Pikmin on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have revealed a new addition to the upcoming Pikmin 3 roster, the mysterious "winged Pikmin".

During Nintendo Direct today company president Satoru Iwata gave one little nugget of new information on the eagerly anticipated third installment of the Pikmin series.

These critters are new to Pikmin 3 and can fly. They can carry items in the air, useful for water scenarios and for attacking fellow winged beasts. More details on Pikmin 3 will be announced from now until launch, but for now gaze at these new critters doing their thing:
