Nintendo Apologises for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Stock Shortages

Nintendo of Europe boss has apologised to fans trying to grab hold of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.

Capcom's latest bash at beast slaying is now out to play on the move on Nintendo 3DS and reliving the experience in the living room on Wii U. "I'd like to apologise for the current stock shortage due to high demand of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate at retail", tweeted Satoru Shibata earlier this week.

He also noted how stock for both platforms should be available shortly, with the Wii U edition arriving next week and mid-April for Nintendo 3DS.

Those who can't brave the wait can nip onto the Nintendo eShop to grab hold of the game digitally.

That's very interesting news indeed and would explain why it dropped like a rock here in the UK. Previously I thought it was simply down to lack of interest...

Great news.

Bloody fantastic news.

I always thought westerners were too hamfisted to play MH considering they they thought dark souls was hard (excellent, not especially hard)

This means ninty fans are buying the right games (so rare in the gaming industry for gamers to actually buy the right games)

also means we get more MH localisation.

And perhaps more westerners will actually learn how to play games instead of spending filthy money on shit like red dead, saints row, uncharted, GTA, god of war, tomb raider reboot and that shit the last of us.

Side note: just completed vanquish. The legend is that mikami quit over capcom porting resi 4 to ps2 and the whole capcom 5 shambles (which also preceded suda51's exit from capcom). I just wanna say, guys, please buy mikami and sudas games but don't forget yoshinori ono and the MH/dragons dogma guys they are also doing fabulous work.

@ninty: get ninja gaiden 4 made, keep those good relations with suda, platinum, capcom, ubi (also doing great work post PoP) and team ninja (sorry we didn't buy metroid but it was a bit crap).
