New Details on Tomodachi Collection 3DS on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo have launched the website for Tomodachi Collection, with new details on the upcoming life simulator heading to 3DS.

Tomodachi Collection, revealed during Nitnendo direct earlier this year, is pitched as a "communication game" where your created or imported Mii characters live together inside a single apartment block. The aim of the game here is to see just how these different personalities interact with each other based on their traits.

These aspects could include things like speech, accent, thought and action, reflecting on how they'll act. Some may argue, live together, become friends, lovers and even mariage might be on the cards.

Within the day to day lives, there'll be requests from your neighbour characters to assist with activities or mini-games.

seems like there could be overlap with animal crossing to me.. or at least, I question the justification for separate games - need to see more of this yet though.

Sounds like a bit of Tamagocchi with a bit of The Sims thrown in. They should go a step further by adding a bit of Nintendogs element, it could be interesting.
