New Details About Sequel to the Phenomenal Zero Escape: Virtue

Zero Escape is the outlandish sci-fi fantasy thriller horror "visual novel" adventure game that started off with a bang in 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. The series hit a high point with Virtue's Last Reward, which featured amazing character design, graphics, animations, and highly branched story flow. A third title was promised, which would tie the stories of the first two games together and give players closure on the bizarre story, which features everything from kidnapping to time traveling soul leaping.

Kotaro Uchikoshi, the game's director, has told Siliconera that the third game will take place between the first two games. No further news on the title, however check out Uchikoshi's interesting GDC presentation about how visual novels are designed and why he thinks they are the purest form of what a game is.

I regret missing this on the 3DS & refuse to buy the Vita version. I'll make sure to pick this up after all the good things I've heard about the previous one.

It is not wise to speak on subjects you do not know all facts about, nor is it smart to judge a game based on looks alone. PSN: Nintendo_Gamer 3DS: 4296-3029-7422

If you get the 3DS version of Virtue's Last Reward, be sure to read up on the save glitch!

Fantastic game, other than that problem.

My review makes mention of how to avoid the glitch Smilie

I'm hoping the timeline of the third game means there's also going to be a fourth set after Virtue's Last Reward!

I sooooo wish i had the money for a 3ds or a vita. I've played 999 and it was amazing and I've heard VLR is even better but it's only released for 2 (pricy) systems
