Ubisoft is expecting Rayman Legends to be one of the big releases to help shift the Nintendo Wii U console this year.
In an interview with Games Industry, Ubisoft France's Xavier Poix has high hopes for the previously Wii U-exclusive project, noting how "power of the brands from Nintendo and we know from the fans that the majority of what will be the system sellers are not yet available".
From Ubisoft's perspective, he feels "Rayman will be one of them for sure. We really expect Rayman to be a huge system seller on the console."
However with Rayman Legends now a multiformat project instead of Wii U only, despite having a handful of exclusive features, can it have the same impact at retail?
