Nintendo UK have detailed launch plans for Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, plus an amusing shopping channel spoof from Capcom.
It's Monster Hunter season with the release of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on both Nintendo Wii U and 3DS this month and Capcom are celebrating the release with a different sort of launch video. Within the world of Ultimate you're able to purchase and forge weapons, but what if there was a TV shopping channel dedicated to tools and gadgets to help you on your quest?
Nintendo UK have also detailed launch incentives for Monster Hunter Ultimate in a press release today.
For the next few months Capcom will be releasing free downloadable content for both versions. The first, available this week, will include a "Streaking with Bullfangos" quest, plus additional titles - Scholar, Graduate and Elder. There'll be two additional Guild Card backgrounds in the DLC pack as well.
The first of two software updates adds voice chat, USB keyboards for text chat and refined camera. The second, planned for April, will add off-TV play and cross-region online between those in North America and Europe.
Those who have a Nintendo 3DS and the Wii U versions can download the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate Packet Relay Tools to head online on the 3DS or play local multiplayer using up to three 3DS consoles (each requiring a copy of the game).
