Previously due to arrive on April 5th, Ghostlight has today announced that the SRPG Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked will now be arriving a week earlier on March 29th. Putting this so close to fellow strategy game Fire Emblem Awakening's European release had originally raised a few eyebrows with some fans, and this could be the reason for Ghostlight speaking to manufacturers to move the date forward. Devil Survivor Overclocked now comes three weeks before Fire Emblem Awakening, instead of two.
Additionally, instead of making consumers pick and choose between which side of the double-sided poster Ghostlight would be including in pre-orders made at their official store to display on their walls, the publisher will now be shipping two separate posters with the game so you can display both pieces of artwork in your room. Have a peek at these posters here and here.
The UK postage cost will be removed from orders made at the Ghostlight Store, but they are unfortunately unable to ship to the following European countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. Residents of these countries will need to order from their own local retailers or favourite online outlets.
Furthermore, the official Devil Survivor Overclocked website is now live, and highlights a selection of high review scores for the game.
Finally, Ghostlight mentions the much-talked about DS sequel, Devil Survivor 2. The company notes that they have heard from many fans after the recent Atlus announcement of the game getting a 3DS upgrade, just like Overclocked is to the original Devil Survivor, but says the market for DS games is quite difficult at the moment, although an update on the game is promised in the coming weeks.
