Previously announced way back in 2011, ChronoBlade was revealed to be in development for Nintendo 3DS by Thailand-based company Corecell.
Today, the Managing Director of Corecell Technology Co., Ltd has revealed to Cubed3 that the game is still on track for release on the system, but has undergone a name change to AeternoBlade.
AeternoBlade features a young mage warrior named Freyja, who is on a mission to avenge her fallen comrades and avert the slaughtering of her tribe by jumping into the past of another dimension. She must collect clock pieces and use time manipulation during gameplay to take objects, then wind back time and use them to open up new routes through each level, with bosses awaiting her eventual arrival.
Corecell states that AeternoBlade is now going through final testing and localisation, so with any luck, we may be seeing the action side-scroller some time this year.
