As revealed today during Nintendo 3DS direct, 2013 is the Year of Luigi, and Nintendo are rolling out a new entry in the ever-popular Mario & Luigi series. It's all about the taller brother's bizarre dreams and poking him whilst he's in slumber to effect what's going on in the main game. Solve puzzles and combat foes in this slight shake-up to the traditional Mario & Luigi formula.

Satoru Iwata confirmed that Mario & Luigi: Dream Team will be available this summer on Nintendo 3DS. For now a handful of screenshots and gameplay footage to soothe the wait:
