Nintendo Wii U is being rampaged with another blend of zombie horror with The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct confirmed for the console today.
Speaking to Digital Spy, producer Glenn Gamble noted how the the team "didn't want to change the game", so pondered how to add to it with a Wii U release. Quite simply, the Nintendo edition includes a "inventory management system. With the Wii U you have access to your backpack at all times, so you can tap what weapons you want, you can drop stuff. It's a lot more streamlined" - perhaps inspired by Ubisoft's approach in Wii U launch title ZombiU.
Survival Instinct is based on the hit television series, unlike Telltale's version which followed the comics, and is intended to be a prequel.
The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct is being developed by Terminal Reality for Activision and due out March 29th in Europe.
