Rayman Legends Wii U Release Date and Demo Confirmed on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Ubisoft has confirmed that the eagerly awaited Wii U exclusive, Rayman Legends, will be gliding into Europe next February.

The sublime 2D platformer, which we thoroughly enjoyed, missed the original Wii U launch due but will still leap into life during the launch period - confirmed by Official Nintendo Magazine as February 28th.

More excitingly, a demo will be available to download and try to your heart's content from December 13th on the Nintendo Wii U eShop.

Awesome! Been looking forward to the demo and I really want the game asap, still a silly shame they felt the need to delay it.

Either way, can't wait! Just relieved it hasn't been canned or anything!

I'll probably get a massive slap for this, but I haven't played Origins yet. But played Legends at a Wii U preview and loved it, so smooth and the GamePad concepts really seem tailor made and not bolted on - demo is exciting, all over that!

I definitely took my time to get to Origins too and I continuously doubted how good it was til then, but I got it and wow it's brilliant it's the most fun I've had on a 2D platformer in forever.

That game and Legends deserve all the love they can get Smilie

Rayman Origins is one of the best platformers I've ever played. Absolutely beautiful visuals, a delightful soundtrack and really great controls that feel smooth and responsive. Rayman Legends is my most anticipated game at the moment.
