Famitsu Reveals New 3DS Game, MonHun 4 Details on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

The weekly Japanese publication, Famitsu, has revealed some details on a brand new Nintendo 3DS title, as well as fresh information on the impending release of Monster Hunter 4.

First up is a former browser-based game called Osawari Tantei Nameko Daihanshoku from Success Corp., the same company that brought Touch Detective and Izuna to Nintendo DS. Other than that, all that is known for now is that it will launch at the end of February 2013, new content will be added, and that it has both local wireless and Internet play.

As for Monster Hunter 4, the magazine teased readers about a new weapon that will be revealed on 13th December. The silhouette image showed a large beast of a weapon with three spikes protruding from the top, rather like a trident. Clearly the drip-feed nature of the news revelations is to whip fans into a frenzy...

I'm really excited to see how this weapon is going to be. Lances and Gunlances are already there for poking, so something like a trident should have a pretty interesting moveset.
