Nintendo to Publish Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate in Europe on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Nintendo has confirmed a continued distribution deal with Capcom to bring Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate to Europe.

Whilst it was already known that Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate is heading to both North America and Europe next year, Nintendo have reiterated a strong desire to bring key Capcom titles to Western audiences.

Having already distributed Super Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil: Revelations in the last year, the next big project between Capcom and Nintendo will be both Wii U and 3DS versions of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.

Nintendo also confirmed that the Wii U edition will boast free-to-play online multiplayer.

Both games will hit retailers during March 2013.

Will you be embarking on an adventure with Capcom in Monster Hunter 3: Ultimate? If so, which version will you adopt first?

I hope they also give it some proper advertisements. There will be some online multiplayer focused games in the launch window but so far it looks like there won't be any heavy competition for it during its expected March release. If marketed right, they could take advantage of this and increase its audience even further after Tri greatly boosted its popularity in the West over 2 years ago.

Part of me wants this, part of me wants to wait for MH4U. HD 3DS graphics of a game you've already played 50% of... =/

Yeah, I'm hoping they do something better than the viking guy driving around with a dead lagi in the back of his truck telling people to touch it.

Nope, I would say that percent of what you've played was alot smaller. The 4 weapon types that were missing, the extra 11 monsters and 21 sub species including their armors and weapons, there's also new weapons and armors for the past Tri monsters, then there's the G rank quests that give out material for G rank armors that include new skills some from past MH titles that you never played,  G rank quests also boost monster attacks,  signature moves, defense that increases their resistance to sharpness, then there's the added shakalaka which comes with several new masks for him and cha-cha from Tri, and theres still the yet to be announced DLC quests.

If you've only played MH Tri you have no idea on how much from this series you're actually missing out on. MH3U is the first MH game to rival MH unite outside of japan boasting 200+ quests. I say get it if you're actually interested in the series.
