During the Nintendo Direct presentation this week, president Satoru Iwata revealed new details on Animal Crossing for 3DS.
The latest chapter in the longrunning life simulator is out in Japan on 8th November and brings a wealth of new customisation options. Pimp out your new virtual 3D home with all sorts of nifty new goodies including a well, various draws and clocks. Patterns ahoy as townsfolk can now kit out furniture with more custom patterns to add that extra level of personalisation and detail.
Want to sure your well earned house designs? There'll also be the ability to show off your home to fellow Animal Crossing fans using StreetPass in the real world.
There's also the return of familiar series icons including coffee enthusiast Brewster and taskmaster Tom Nook.
The main change this time is that players take on the coveted role of town Mayor - developing the town with useful bits like streetlamps, bridges and trees.
