SEGA have commented on the Wii U version of upcoming racer Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed as "on-par" with its brothers.
The prickly hedgehog and his franchise buddies are once again tearing up the racing circuit, this time morphing into different vehicles to overcome obstacles. Run out of land? Simply pilot an aircraft or skip through the seas in a boat.
Speaking to Eurogamer, SEGA's marketing executive Ben Finch noted how the Wii U edition is "on-par" to the Xbox 360 and PS3 editions, or "maybe even better".
The Wii U edition uses the GamePad screen as either an alternative display for a rear view or weapon-cam to guide homing missiles. Both 3DS and Wii U will also include Mii characters as optional players as well.
