Trade in a 3DS for a Bigger Model for £79 in GAME on Nintendo gaming news, videos and discussion

Existing 3DS owners eyeing up the larger, potentially more comfortable hardware have a nifty trade-in offer from UK retailer GAME.

If you pop into your local branch between July 28th and August 9th, a brand new 3DS XL and AC adapter can be yours for a healthy £79.99 and parting ways with your existing baby.

Existing data can be transferred between the original 3DS and new 3DS XL.

The console itself will go on sale in three flavours - red, blue and silver - for £174.99.

Will you be trading in your existing 3DS for the new 3DS XL hardware?

Considering this, I'd be tempted to upgrade if I lived in the UK Smilie

Are GameStation doing this as well? They closed down all the games in close proximity of Liverpool City Centre to my knowledge...

It's the same company, so I see no reason why not.

Add me on anything. I'm always looking for new friends/opponents/town visitors/chances to appear more popular than I actually am.

Everyone knows you can system transfer, but can you do so in-store?. This article isn't clear, as is GAME's site.

Seems deceptive not state so clearly.

The guys in my GAME store said they would let me do the transfer as I get on well with them. But, there's no way I can afford a 3DS XL atm anyways.. even for £80. :/
